Julia is commonly used for engineering and analytics purposes. Julia is a popular choice for various fields such as machine learning, data visualization, and data science. Because of these reasons, there are plenty of opportunities and room for growth for Julia.
Performance Speed
Julia was built with high performance being a top priority. The LLVM compiler allows Julia to compile efficiently and quickly. Compared to it’s competitor language, Python, Julia is a much faster language. Python uses an interpreter rather than a compiler which means that the language is translated as the program is running, making Python a much slower language.
