Hi everyone, welcome back. In this article I will be going over the top programming languages of 2021 for data science. What exactly is data science? Data science is when datasets are examined and decisions are made based off of the examinations to fix a problem or to improve a result. Data science is also big when it comes to machine learning and artificial intelligence. Data science is a growing field and offers a great career path.
6. Scala
Scala is a language that supports both object-oriented programming and functional programming. Scala runs off a JVM which allows working with Java easier. Scala has tons of libraries that can be uses for all sorts of purposes including data science purposes. Scala is great when working when large datasets and it works well with many of the current Big Data tools. Scala is also supported by many IDE’s. If you’re already familiar with Java, then Scala is an easy language to pick up.

Julia is a general purpose language that has risen in popularity over the past recent years. Julia was build to be used for numerical analysis and computational science.
