Hi everyone, welcome back. Today, I want to go over some things I wish I knew before starting college. Not all of these may apply to every one of you, but I believe that a majority of it should. Hopefully this can help you get the most out of your college experience. With this introduction out of the way, let’s get into it.

Passionate Major

Pick or change to a major that contains subjects that you care about! This will determine what you will do later in life, by opening up future job and higher education opportunities, so be sure to pick something you are happy with.

Not Every Class Requires an Equal Amount of Effort

Sure, you want to try to get the best grades that you can get, but your main focus should be on classes that are relevant and align with your dream career. It’s good to know things in a variety of subjects and to be well-rounded, after all, knowledge is power. Unfortunately, there’s a good chance that a lot of general education classes are not going to be aligned with your dream career.
