Hi everyone, welcome back. Roku has just pushed their latest release, Roku OS 11.5, onto their platform. This release includes a number of features to provide a better user experience for users with Roku devices. With this introduction out of the way, let’s get into it.
Roku streaming devices can be used to stream shows and movies to your television, which is super great and extremely helpful for non smart TVs which have no streaming capabilities on their own. Let’s see what new features have been added to the latest version of Roku OS.
Some of the big features for Roku OS 11.5 include a “continue watching” section which will allow users to pick up where they left off and a save list which allows users to save a show or a movie for a later time. Updates to Live TV include adding a categories section for its searching capabilities and guide button to Roku’s mobile app.
Other features include visual improvements on the search screen, improvements to the movies and shows detail page, the introduction of The Buzz which allows users to quickly find new movies and shows, and a new Roku Store.
